ReelAbilities Film Festival Returns to Pittsburgh

FISA Foundation and JFilm are proud to co-present the 4th annual ReelAbilities Film Festival which showcases films about the lives, stories, and artistic expression of people with different disabilities. The Festival, which takes place in October every year, features films that have been selected for their quality, diversity and for challenging perceptions about the lives of people with disabilities in thought-provoking ways. The films feature actors with a broad range of disabilities and touch on universal themes of community, family, love, search for meaning, and independence as well as the unique struggles related to living with a disability. Films are accompanied by tailored supplemental programming, including speakers, panel discussions, and art installations. All films will be presented with open captions, audio description and ASL interpretation. The festival venue, Rodef Shalom Congregation, is fully accessible.
